Prayer Ministry

Healing Prayer Available to ALL

Prayers for forgiveness, generational issues, depression, physical problems, addictions, grief, anxiety, abuse, oppression, and others

All Peoples Church (APC) will be offering healing prayer sessions to members of the Lynchburg community starting in October, 2015. Prayer will be offered by teams of prayer ministers trained in healing prayer by Christian Healing Ministries and other prayer models. Prayer times are available by scheduled prayer appointments during the week. Both afternoon and evening times are available. Each participant will be required to complete a confidential personal information form to allow for the best match of prayer ministers.

Call Press Barnhill (434) 258-4186 for questions or to make an appointment. For more information on the healing prayer sessions, please click here.

Childrens Ministry

Children’s Ministry

Currently we offer childcare services for children under 3 years old in the nursery which is located directly behind the sanctuary. On Sunday mornings, after corporate worship, we have children’s church for children ages 4-11. Children that are ages 4-7 go to one class and children 8-11 go to a separate class. Our philosophy behind children’s church is not like other churches in that we are not here to entertain children. Our children’s ministry has been established so that we might disciple children to be like Jesus Christ. We teach them about salvation and lead them toward relationship with Jesus if they do not know Him as Lord and Savior. We teach them to pray for themselves and one another. We teach them to think rightly about God and how to hear His voice. All of our lessons are biblically based and are designed to encourage your child’s walk with the Lord.

Young Adult Ministry

Lead by Adam Knapp

Make no mistake, this is not your every day young adult ministry; The Gathering is not for the faint of heart. Our young adults, gather together and keep it real. These are not sessions for cute and uplifting Bible stories. If you want to be challenged, if you want to be held accountable by your peers and called up to walk at a higher level, then The Gathering is the place for you. Currently, the young adults meet weekly on Sunday nights at the church at 6 p.m. to discuss how they can take ownership of their faith.

Women’s Fellowship

The women of our body have had different classes and meetings offered. APC women gather to study and learn how to pray as well as lift up the needs of each other. In the past we have offered women’s fellowship on Mondays, which includes Bible study and various other books regarding women and their roles. This aspect of ministry is being considered again. Some of our women are currently a part of different inter-denominational Bible studies as well as Women’s Aglow.

Men’s Fellowship

Hosted by Pastor Bud Crawford

As a Church body we understand the importance of fellowship within the body as well as fellowship aimed at the individual needs of gender and age. We offer to our men the opportunity to join us on a monthly basis as we meet to fellowship over breakfast at various locations. While there we share about our lives, and come ready to hear an encouraging word from whoever is sharing that morning. Also there is a time for prayer for anyone needing it.
