What is the Real Movement?
A female-led, female-focused ministry that focuses on the spiritual growth of young adult women. This movement was created to catalyze change in the Christian community and help young adult women be heard, seen, and known in their struggles and circumstances. Through a Gospel-centered approach to discipleship, young adult women can come as they are, yet be edified, encouraged, and empowered to walk confidently in a community of women pursuing a kingdom lifestyle.
What is the Gathering?
A female-led, female-focused ministry that focuses on the spiritual growth of young adult women (18-30.) Through a Gospel-centered approach to discipleship, young adult women will be edified, encouraged, and empowered to walk confidently in a community of women pursuing a kingdom lifestyle.
Our goal is to provide a safe space where no topic is off the table to help young women walk in their identity as daughters of God confidently.
Our Mission
The mission of the Real Movement is for young women to find freedom, wholeness, and deliverance while feeling seen, loved and embraced by not just a female community, but a loving God. Our events focus on supporting women through a Biblical worldview with honest, healthy discussions about issues such as singleness, sexual sin, dating, sexual assault, eating disorders, mental illness, abortion, purity culture, transitioning into marriage and motherhood. We believe that lives will be changed through the power of knowing, loving, and understanding the depth of truth found in Scripture on these topics. Reading and studying Scripture will become accessible, and through it, girls will become empowered to handle the pressing issues in today’s culture, walk confidently, and be used as vessels and movers for the Kingdom of God here on earth.
